The School of Communication Studies will have a vibrant presence at the Graduate School open house scheduled for Thursday, November 17th from 1:00-4:00 in the Grand Ballroom of the New Orleans Marriott.  We are scheduled to be in booth #701, which looks to be located near the entrance more toward the right.  We will be the fun booth with lots of people.

To help you find us at the Convention after the open house, we have put together a list of Scripps College of Communication faculty, staff, and students who will be presenting, along with days, times, and rooms, so that you can find the COMS people you want to meet.

We invite all alumni and friends of our School, including applicants interested in our graduate program, to attend our reception.  The reception will be held at Mulate's Restaurant from 7:00 to 9:00 on Friday, November 18th (the day after the Graduate Fair Booth).  Mulate's is a classic New Orleans restaurant/bar less than a 15-minute walk from the convention hotel.  Our reception was planned by Allie Gatto, one of our outstanding student staff members in the school and will feature a variety of traditional Cajun snacks and treats.  A cash bar will be available.
