Raymie McKerrow named Whittenberg Fellow

	This fall (2008), Professor Raymie McKerrow was honored as the newest Wittenberg Fellow by Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio. Being named a fellow is a prestigious honor accorded by the University’s Board of Directors to individuals recognized for outstanding accomplishments within their fields. As part of this recognition, Dr. McKerrow traveled to Wittenberg University on September 12th to deliver two class lectures, a public lecture, meet with the University’s President and Provost, and hold open office hours for students. Dr. McKerrow’s connection with Wittenberg University includes having served as a consultant during the formative stages of Wittenberg’s communication major. Two of his OU doctoral advisees are currently faculty members at Wittenberg.
